Chinese Hot pot is essentially taking bite-sized fresh ingredients and cooking this for yourself in a tasty bowl of broth in front of you. Tattu Restaurant and Bar offers a range of options for large party dining and events. Its Parlour is Tattu’s private dining room and exclusive event space. In the 1950s against the background of the Chinese Cultural Revolution Wing Lau and family left Shanghai for England. He is passionate about food and in 1955 Wing set up his first restaurant in Liverpool.

The family relocated to Manchester in 1960 setting up a new restaurant on Cross Street. Jenny came over from Shanghai in 1988 to help her uncle. Jenny now runs the restaurant. And Wing has moved back to Shanghai, but he still likes to check on how things are going in Manchester. Family, friends, and food are important to him.
